Nameservers (DNS)

Name servers play an important role in your domain/website visibility. They are responsible for translating "mycooldomain.com" into an internet address or IP so that clients such as web browsers, and email clients (outlook, etc), can find and talk to the server. If your domain was registered through MicroVB INC, any name server changes are done automatically for you. If you have your domain through a 3rd party such as GoDaddy, then you will need to make sure that these servers are always applied, and they can assist you with this process.

Current DNS in order

  • ns1.linode.com
  • ns2.linode.com
  • ns3.linode.com
  • ns4.linode.com
  • ns5.linode.com

Email Settings

Email is an important aspect of daily operations for any business that has an online presence, and as such, we try our best to ensure that the servers remain both static, and secure. As the internet is an evolving landscape, sometimes, change is necessary in order to ensure that we are using the current most secure standards. You can find our up-to-date mail server settings below, with some illustrations on how those settings apply in Microsoft Outlook.

POP3 (inbound) tesla.microvb.com TLS 995 This server requires an encrypted connection
